Rev. David & Holly Church

Pastor David Church is from Oshawa in Ontario, Canada. He graduated in 1992 from Indiana Bible College in Indianapolis with an Associates Degree in Theology. After graduating, he went back to Oshawa to preach and began teaching at the Apostolic Missionary Institute, a small Bible college that was a part of the church his father, Rev. B.J. Church, was pastor over.

In 1993 David married Holly, and they lived in Oshawa while David continued to teach at AMI. In 1994 they started traveling between Oshawa and Indiana while David worked as a carpenter, building homes in both locations. They finally settled in Chesterton, Indiana in 1995 and began attending the local UPC church, where he later participated in home missions work. In 2002, David became the Pastor of the Chesterton church, New Life Tabernacle. God revealed yet another plan for David and Holly in October of 2007 when David was elected as the new pastor of the Valparaiso United Pentecostal Church, and the Chesterton and Valparaiso works merged into one congregation, Life Church. David is also a contractor by trade, and works throughout Northwest Indiana building homes. He has also served as the framing contractor for several "Church in a Day" projects for the UPCI organization throughout the U.S. and Canada.  Holly is the Music Director for Life Church, as well as serving as the director of Life Church's various ladies' ministries.

Pastor and Sis. Church have been married for over 26 years, and have three children, Adriene, Davis, & Barrett.
