WELCOME!
Thank you for visiting our online site where you can find our service times, special
events and ministry information. We appreciate your interest in our church and hope to
see you in person soon!
We invite you and your family to join us any Sunday morning or Wednesday evening for a wonderful time of
worshiping our Father together. You will hear joyful praise singing of contemporary Christian songs, anointed bible
teaching, and most importantly, you'll be surrounded by folks just like yourself that will pray with you for your needs.
As God says in Isaiah 56:7b, "for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people."
We look forward to worshipping with you!

Life Church of Valparaiso A United Pentecostal Church
|
EXCITING NEWS. . .
October 2007 - In an unprecedented move within the United Pentecostal Church organization, Chesterton's New
Life Tabernacle and Valparaiso's Christian Life Center have combined church bodies to come together under one
pastor, David Church, of Valparaiso. He and his wife, Holly, are excited about this merger and are expecting great
things to happen!
January 2008 - Church members voted to change the name of our church from "Christian Life Center" to "Life
Church" to better reflect and represent our new church body. We've been experiencing such mighty and powerful
services these past few months. . . Come join us to receive a refreshing of the Holy Spirit!
March 2008 - Renovation's of the ENTIRE main level of the interior of the church are complete! God's house
should be glorious and have only the best things in it. If we have something great in our own homes, shouldn't God's
house be even better?! With this in mind, so much care has been taken to update every single thing in the church,
from the new lights on the ceiling to the carpets on the floor and all in-between. Pastor Church has been following
the vision God has given him for our congregation. We're all excited as we know these external changes are but a
reflection of the internal changes God is making. Come by anytime and check out what's been done thus far.
July 2008 - Life Church is excited to welcome Britton & Brittney Ouellette, from Texas, to our ministry team.
They'll be leading our youth department and have come with many exciting plans to implement. Our youth have
already begun to experience the passion this young couple has for God and the burden they have for today's youth.
Be sure to check out our Youth Info page to see some of what has already been planned for the youth.
October 2008 - We've restructured our Sunday School department - both the physical location and the format.
All children between the ages of 3 and 10 now meet in the sanctuary at 10:00 a.m. to participate in a fun,
high-energy "Superchurch" program. *After spending several months here getting to know our children and settling
into their new home life, Brother & Sister Ouellette have agreed to lead our pre-teen and teen classes. Meeting
upstairs in classrooms, Sis. Ouellette teaches the 10-14 year olds while Bro. Ouellette works with the 15-18 year olds.
January 2009 - Our new church sign is finally in place! We're all very excited to have this in place, officially
indicating the conjoining of our two church bodies a little over a year ago. There have been so many changes over
the past year; we've really grown as a church - both in number and in relationship with each other. It's been an
amazing journey and we're truly excited to see what God has in store for us this coming year.
Summer 2009 - We've started a new outreach program, under the direction of Bro. Mark Traino. In the past few
months we've had many, many Bible studies being taught - each one resulting in that person being baptized in Jesus'
name and most of those have since been filled with the Holy Ghost! Our services lately have just been awesome;
such a powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit each time we gather together. Our church has been growing by leaps and
bounds and we're so thankful for the revival God's bringing to each of us. If you're desperate for SOMETHING - you do
not want to miss an upcoming service. God is moving mightily, folks, and you could be the next person touched and
changed forever. The church is on fire!
*Update - our first community "Back To School" block party was a great success! We had approximately 40 first time
visitors Saturday with 10 people being Baptized and several Bible studies set up! We're just in awe at how God is
moving.
We hope you enjoy this verse of the day -
