What We Believe

God’s Word

The Bible is God’s perfectly, inspired Word which has been preserved without error throughout the ages. God’s Word is the only authority through which we receive life and instructions for living.

About Jesus Christ and God

There is only one God. God has revealed Himself to humanity as our heavenly Father, in His Son, Jesus Christ, and through the Holy Spirit. God was manifested in the flesh as the man, Jesus, and the fullness of the godhead dwells completely in Him. (Colossians 2:9)

About Salvation and the Gospel

All have sinned and need the blood of Christ for atonement. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. This is the Gospel. We express our faith in the Gospel by our obedience to the Gospel. We obey Christ’s death through repentance, we obey His burial through baptism in Jesus Name for the remission of sins, we obey His resurrection by receiving His Spirit into our hearts with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues. This is the consistent pattern of conversion in the New Testament Church.

Christian Living

As followers of Christ, we are instructed to love God and love others. We are called to live a life which portrays Christ through us. In this way we can impact our world and others with the Gospel Message of Salvation.

The End of the Age and Eternity

At the end of the Age, Jesus, our righteous Judge, will judge all people. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous, eternal death. Jesus is coming again to rapture His Church. The dead in Christ shall be resurrected first, and then those who are alive, and in Christ shall be caught up together with the Lord in the air and will be forever with Him.
